Expectations
Associates quickly master the following skills, among others: performing quantitative analysis using statistical and graphical packages such as STATA and ArcGIS; utilizing databases and raw client data to obtain information concerning industries at issue; and creating tables, graphs and maps for expert reports and testimony. Over the course of a week, an associate may work on several different projects concerning such disparate issues as the potential competitive effects of a proposed multi-billion dollar merger, damages assessment in contract disputes, or statistical evidence regarding employment discrimination. Associates generally work in teams to tackle these projects. Therefore, associates must be able to juggle multiple commitments and work effectively both leading and being directed by peers. The rich and diverse backgrounds of the associates, broad industry exposure and opportunity to work on high-profile projects contribute to a dynamic working environment. Full Position Description.
