FERC Approves Entergy’s Acquisition of the Hardin County Peaking Facility.

On January 21, 2021, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) approved Entergy Texas, Inc.’s acquisition of the Hardin County Peaking Facility from the East Texas Electric Cooperative.  As part of its application under Section 203 of the Federal Power Act, Entergy Texas submitted a market power study with a Delivered Price Test authored by EI Principal Dr. John R.
