As an industrial organization economist and applied econometrician, Dr. Arons has provided econometric and theoretical analysis in support of market definition and competitive effects in a wide range of industries, including cable and satellite television, broadcast television, health insurance, hospital conduct, agriculture, paper storage, cloud-based platforms, and software as a service. Prior to joining Secretariat Economists, Dr. Arons was a staff economist at the DOJ Antitrust Division for five years. As a result of this experience, he has worked closely with other economists and attorneys including management in the economic and legal sections at the DOJ. He has also taught a course on Industrial Organization at Georgetown University.
