EI Vice-President, Henry B. McFarland moderates a panel discussion titled “Taking and Defending Expert Deposition Testimony,” at the 58th Antitrust Law Spring Meeting.

Dr. McFarland moderated a panel that addressed strategies and tactics for taking and defending depositions of expert economists in antitrust cases. Dr. McFarland has testified in several cases before regulatory commissions and in U.S. District Court. Other members of the panel included Paul H. Friedman from Dechert LLP in Washington, DC; Matthew J. Reilly, Assistant Director at the Federal Trade Commission in Washington, DC; and Margaret M. Zwisler from Latham & Watkins LLP in Washington, DC. The Antitrust Section of the American Bar Association sponsored the Spring Meeting, held April 21-23, 2010 in Washington DC. More than 2000 lawyers and economists from across the United States and many foreign countries attended.
